Hey
I have macbook 13inch 2009 model with temperature sensor failing, i get error TN1D on aht (apple hardware test) and after that i used apple service diagnostics to find what it actually means.
Sensor is MCP 0 die^ error its reading BELOW not above temperature point. The sensor is located within the graphics chip. I already checked components on the power line leading to it and there is no corrosion or signs of liquid dmg in any component.
Also EFI version is different and mbp model name in system information, it is mbp pro 13 inch mid 2009 in there, last owner probably forced EFI update for trying install SATA3 ssd maybe?
Cant find mbp late 09 efi update from official source : https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201518
Any chance wrong version of EFI would read temp sensor below point? I will try to downgrade if its possible, if not can i somehow disable this sensor within OSx?
