Macbook 1.1 Monitor Support question

Hey, Im looking at getting a 22" widescreen monitor to go along with my sweet Macbook edition 1.1

The native resolution of the screen is 1680x1050, will my macbook be able to support that?

As long as you're spanning the displays (using two monitors as separate displays) or using the MacBook in clamshell mode (hook up a monitor, keyboard, and mouse, and close the lid). Mirroring (same desktop on both screens) will give you a maximum resolution of 1280x800.
