Macbook 1.83 GHz Core Duo OS?

Hi all I just picked up a used Macbook Core Duo (not core 2 duo) to replace my PPC ibook 12in.

I want to fresh install the OS to install my apps and stuff, question is should stay with 10.5 or go snow leopard? Any real advantages to coughing up $29 bucks for snow or stay 10.5.

Snow Leopard would do just fine as long as you have the minimum requirements.
