Hi Guys,

I currently have the 2015 Pro with the 2.7 core i5. Looking at the latest Macbook 12 core i5 which is about 1500 dollars.

Any idea how it would stack up for processing power of video editing against my current ? Video editing is rare, and my rest of use is routine stuff.

Also any pointers to a good price?

[doublepost=1517630744][/doublepost]Funny you should ask. I sold my MacBook Pro 2016 model in December and just bout the Macbook.
I love the Macbook. I know the Pro has more under the hood, but I like the Macbook WAY better!

I have the MBP 13 and yesterday added the MB 12 as a computer for traveling. So far I love it. Much lighter.

Check out the Apple Refurb' page. I recently bought a rMB 2017 model and after several days of searching realised that £1050 refurbed from Apple was the best option. 2nd hand UK (on eBay) prices started at around £850, with some selling allegedly new units for £950, but with buying from Apple you know you get the best deal, plus the 12 months guarantee, plus the option to buy Apple Care. Worth the extra few quid.
