Hello, I have a MBP 13" Dual Core 2,5Gz, and I'm considering to buy MBP 13" i5 2,3Gz and I have 2 questions:

1: MBP i5 2,3Gz is hotter than MBP Dual Core 2,5Gz?
2: MBP i5 2,3Gz is faster than MBP Dual Core 2,5Gz?

Best Regards, Pedro Ferreira :D

1) If you are running processor intensive tasks, then yes, the i5 2.3Ghz MBP will get hotter than the 2.5Ghz. For things like browsing the web, they are almost the same, and the difference is negligible.

2) Much faster.

Thanks very much Fugue, I'll order it tomorrow, another question, if I buy an external hardrive and let the MBP disk more clear, does it afect speed?

Like just programs and OS in disk, and the other data in external.

Best Regards, Pedro Ferreira ;)

How does the 2011 13" MBP work with the 27" ACD? Does it work flawlessly? Anyone have this setup?

Sorry to be rude but ... I'm fairly new on this forum, are most of the posts here this stupid?

What is there to 'work' between a computer and a monitor? Either the display is a good or it's not. Either the computer has a bad GPU or it doesn't.
