MacBook 13-inch Late 2007-Aftermarket Battery?

I need a new Battery for my late 2007 Macbook. The reviews for OEM and aftermarket are not great. Is there a decent aftermarket battery available?

I wouldn't trust or recommend any non-Apple battery, due to the number of problems reported with "knockoff" batteries. Also, there is no assurance that knockoff batteries have the same charging technology that Apple uses, involving the battery, the MagSafe adapter and the Mac's logic board.

Thanks. It looks like I may have another issue. It won't charge the battery. Stuck at 0% or shows an X with a green light on the cord.

Try resetting the SMC.

Did that. It brought the battery back to Not Charging and 'Check Battery' in the power status.

Yep. Sounds like it's time for a new battery.
