Macbook 16” for speakers?

Hi all !

I don’t currently own a mac but most of my adult life i did own a mac.

So i was waiting for the 14” but that never came and i went to the store last night and heard the 16” speakers and they were amazing!

Speakers in general make or break the experience for me so it’s kinda important for me to have good speakers.

I don’t need the power of the 16” as i have a powerful custom build pc. However once i heard the 16” compared to the higher end 13” I couldnt get over how much better they were and now considering going 16” just for the speakers!

has anyone else done that and regretted that?

Everyone around me says I’m crazy.

what do you think?

btw I’m not a student and might be carrying this to work sometimes but that’s not a big deal.

i do like to watch movies and tv shows on my macbooks in bed though and putting the laptop on top of the blanket which wasn’t An issue with my 12”.

maybe buy a pair of really comfy and fantastic sounding headphones like the Sennheiser HD600 and be even further blown away?

I have the denon ah-d2000. Very happy with those. Still like to listen to nice speakers vs headphones.

After this response there’s not much to say really. You seem to have made up your mind anyway. What do you think might make you regret? If you want it then just go for it.

I have my Soundsticks hooked up, so couldn’t care less about internal speakers. And for the go, I have my headphones
