Hi

Shall I get the Macbook with 2.0 or 2.2 ghz? I can afford the "high-end"-one, but does the 0.2 comes to show? Can I feel the difference?

I think it would be better to get the 2Ghz model and load it up with RAM.

I'm gonna get 4 gb ram for the model I choose. I'm going to use it for: Logic Studio, Sibelius 5, Reason 4 and some Word and other "regular" programs.

The only significant differences between the 2.0 and the 2.2 are the superdrive and extra drivespace (40gb) in the latter compared to the former. You'll have to decide for yourself if they're worth the $200 extra.

I bought the 2.2 over the 2.0, not because of the speed, but because of the superdrive. To me, any modern day computer that can't burn a dvd is useless, especially one that cost over $1k.

Yea that's the reason I got the 2.2 - Wanted the super drive.

I would get the 2.2. I got the 2.16 last year when it was the top of the line, and I am glad I did. Not only for the speed, but for the SuperDrive, and extra HD space. You will be glad you did.
