I have an OLD Macbook 2,1 that has just begun to have network connectivity issues right after upgrading to Snow Leopard. While running Leopard it was fine, but it suddenly won't connect to the internet after upgrading. When I try the EFI Firmware update, the loading bar appears during boot for a second, spasms, and then the screen turns black for a while and then shuts down. This might be due to the fact that this computer does not restart by itself, but shuts down. You have to manually turn it back on. Any ideas?
