MacBook 2.1 HDD help!

Hello everyone, i have a black 2.1 macbook with a 160gb hdd, i recently installed a samsung 650gb hdd and ran snow leapord on it. my problem is i cant get my computer or disk utility to show its full capacity. im stuck at 259 gb's. how do i create new partitions to utilize the full capacity of this drive, help!!
