hello,
I have one realy big problem with my macbook 2.1.

Left side of it got into some water and it stopped working.
I removed battery and dried macbook for 2 days. Then it started working, but screen backlit doesn't work (when macbook starts it's normal, bet then it fades out). And then, when i write my password it goes to sleep.

And even if i get past login screen after few seconds it goes to sleep and doesn't let me start it for few seconds.

Hope someone can help.

You've destroyed it. There is no trusting any data on it or the hardware.

How can you be so sure ? Could you please specify what exarctly is broken? :)
I'm just asking because one guy told me that you just need external monitor and macbook will be usable with it and i'm no expert in these things.

your computer already does not work. Shutting itself off is not normal. It is destroyed.

Fixed

as it turns out it was faulty battery. Before it did the same with or without battery, but after opening macbook and cleaning logic board, it started working. Oh and 2 heat sensors broke off. so that too might be the reason.
