Macbook 2,1 Windows 8 possible?

I have my old Macbook (definitely a 2,1 from mid 2007 iirc) running Lion and am pretty happy with it as my standby.

I'm thinking about Windows next and as far as I can see Apple only 'allow' Windows 7.

As my preference is for 8, I'm wondering if there are any methods of getting 8 on there?

Preferably straightforward, but if the only route is via jumping through a few hoops then so be it.

Any advice?
