Macbook 2.13 or iPhone 3Gs?

I have been offered both of these -Macbook brand new, never used, previous generation for $650 or iPhone 3Gs for $575 (no contract, already have iPhone 3G, but battery is dying out). I can only pick one, which one should I go for?

Depends on what you need. That MacBook is better deal but do you have use for it? Difference between iPhone 3G and 3GS isn't that big but if you're in a need of a new phone anyway, why not to get one
