I recently purchased a MacBook, I bought a new battery and charger. Today i received the charger and battery. I charged the battery I was instructed, had used it for maybe an hour and it complete shut off. Now I have no lights, no noise when i boot up, the macbook just won't turn on. Can someone please help me i'm at a loss, this is the first apple product i've owned other than an iPhone and I don't know what to do.

first take out the battery and hold down the power button for 5 seconds or so, make sure all the power is out of the macbook, then replace the battery, use the battery only and try to power on, if it doesn't boot then plug in your AC adapter, and see if you get the green light, if you don't then you are missing power.....

did you buy geniune apple products or ebay knock offs?
