Hi everyone,

My friend wants to sell a 2008 mac book white to me for $150.00
Specs: (good condition)
⁃ iMac OS X 10.5.8
⁃ 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
⁃ 2GB 667 HGz DDR2 SDRAM
- 125gb Hard drive

Battery and everything else work fine. I guess he wont screw me over cause I know him.

Is it worth the shot?
Thx!

Seems like a good deal only if you need or could make use of it.

For sure it's a steal. Not to mention it's one of the most upgradeable macbooks you can replace pretty much any of its hardware (battery, hdd, RAM, prob not the processor tho).

That is an awesome deal!!!! It's definitely worth it since it is Intel and you can run Lion on it.

It also supports 4GB RAM(officially) and 6GB unofficially. I think that's a fantastic deal and you should definitely do it.

also, 125GB HDD?

makes me think he might have upgraded to an SSD?

In any case thats a good deal.

My 2007 MacBook Pro came with a 120 GB hard drive. I have since upgraded to a 750 GB.

I'm seriously wondering if I can survive on a 128 GB SSD which is why I haven't yet upgraded to a new Air or Retina MBP.
