please help me my macbook just has a black screen? the power light is on and the fan and the chime come on ? its running on snow leopard ? there also doesnt seen to be any power to the apple logo on the back which usually lights up ?

The last MacBook model was introduced mid-2010. There is no 2011 MacBook model. You can find exact specs on your model by entering your serial number here. Also, what version of Snow Leopard are you running? 10.6.8? The Apple logo on the back of the screen is just a cut-out of the case. The light you see there is the same light that illuminates your screen. If your screen is turned off or the brightness is turned all the way down, it affects the logo in the same way.
