Hi there.

This is my prediction for the next MacBook Pro redesign (Air-inspired)

Notice the smaller bazel around the screen - we don't need it too big ;)

Hey, thats pretty, good, apart from the complusory optical drive. I reckon the Pro should ditch the disk drive but keep the standard hard disk bay for at least another generation. Its a bit rough around the edges, but I guess thats because its a quick photoshop...;)

Hoping for something along the lines of this in 2012.

Thanks for watching and your comment :)

Yea - I also think we will see a spec bump before the re-design...

Could've been using a lot more hours photo-shopping - but decided to stop there...

It looks nice. Love the screen.

But it's just a MacBook Air.

My hope is that Apple ditches the optical drive and gives us better CPUs, better graphics (including discrete on the 13"), and better battery life. I don't want a MBP that looks like what you've pictured... that's what the Air is for.

With the new power efficient 22nm CPU's, 28nm GPU's and SSD it will only make sense to make the new MBP smaller, thinner and lighter... and of course with the optical drive left out...

For comfort and the internal design of a laptop, the Air-slope-design is really great - I don't see why Apple shouldn't design the MBP the same form as the Air - as long as it keeps the specs of the pro...

Here it comes in liquid metal / Carbon

I find the full cycle of radeon numbering amusing.

I had a Radeon 7000 back in 2000.

Nice job! I really hope Apple goes in this direction, I am waiting for a re-design to upgrade my 2009 MBP 15" C2D

I like it. Very good job on it. :)

I still prefer a full size notebook to look like a full size notebook. At least to be a bit more substantial. Silly of me I realize...

In the not-too-distant-future the Air and the Pro will be merged together. Its just a matter of time. Apple has already gotten rid of the MacBook. They're just waiting until the technology is there to put Pro performance in the Air.

I think 5 years down the track there will be a MacBook, and a MacBook only.
