This happens whenever I am opening a youtube or play music. When the video or music make its first sound, there is a soft static noise that come with it, in both headphone or speaker. Although it is not noticeable if I don't pay attention to it. I am wondering if this happens to all the 2018 MacBooks or is it just an issue with my machine, or if I should return it.

Thanks

I had that kind of noise, but it didn't come out from the speaker, it was coming out from the fan, or somewhere where the Touch Bar is located. it was like a really soft static noise and you could hear it when the fan was blowing on 60 degrees. I returned it and was able to exchange it because it was just so annoying. my replacement is somewhat making the same noise but definitely less. If its really coming from there speaker, I'm not sure if its just the coil whine which I've read is mostly common on MacBook Pro 15inch.

I had coil whine on my MBP 2018 15inch for the first few days. It's very annoying at first but it disappeared after few days. I had the same "problem" with my mid 2015 15inch so I knew I just have to wait.
