My Mac Mini late 2012 with i7 and 16 Gb RAM lately crashes in iMovie. All the rest is going fine. I won’t do gaming or a lot of Video editing. Most of the time is internet, office and media consumption. I was thinking of a MacBook Air i5 2020: to be more mobile and future presentations. However: the multicore geekbench is not that different from my mac mini. I am afraid it wont last that many years. Any opinion/sugestion?
