I'm trying to decide on either a 2.4 macbook with 2GB, or a 2.0 macbook with 4GB. They work it to roughly the same price. Would the memory upgrade make up for the difference in CPU speed? Is it better to have more memory or a faster cpu?

Get the faster CPU and then buy a 4gb kit aftermarket. It'll work out only slightly more expensive, and then you've got a top of the range MB. :)

I second that. Just purchased 4GB RAM from OWC for my MB 2.4 for roughly $70 with shipping.
