I have my MacBook 6,1 set up with High Sierra and Win 10. I want to install a data doubler in place of the optical drive. Can this drive be partitioned so that it is accessible by both operating systems? I don’t want to share across platform. Just want to give each one more dedi storage.
Thanks in advance

f you don't want to share the whole disk, then simply partition it into equally sized partitions. One as APFS/HFS+ and one as NTFS (might have to do this in Windows).

So if I partition the 2nd drive to my liking prior to installing it I should have the respective partitions visible only to their chosen OS?
