i have the macbook 2009 model with the 9400M, some time back i upgraded the firmware to make it a macbook pro 5,5. i am wondering, how would i get it back to the original firmware since i can not install anything higher than 10.11? this firmware is good because of the 8gb ram ceiling, but i am looking to upgrade the os without having to go the hackintosh route.
