Anyone know if the MacBook 6,1 2.26ghz white unibody with DDR3 1066mhz RAM can use 1333mhz RAM from an early 2011 MacBook Pro?

I've upgraded the RAM from my 2011 MBP and have 4gb left over and would like to give the remainder to my sisters laptop. My ram module specifically state on the sticker:

Samsung 2GB 1Rx8 PC3 - 10600S

Would it be safe to slap it in and see if it works?

As far as I know it won't work properly. If it does manage to boot and recognise the ram (which is unlikely), it will be incredibly slow and will be prone to crashes and freezes.
