I hope this doesn't violate forum rules. I am just trying to find out what people would pay for a used Macbook 7,1. I am trying to purchase one off craigslist and want to see if I am getting a good deal.

It's going for 849$ in refurb store so I would say $700-ish might be a good price, assuming it's in good condition. But check eBay like mentioned above
Yeah eBay the prices range. I have seen it as low as $520 but also in the $800's. I am deploying to Iraq soon so I just want a basic, old faithful macbook 
Personally, unless it's a deal you just can't pass up, either price is really low or a package deal (RAM, bigger HD or SSD) I'd lean towards the refurb.
But that's just me.
