With the Macbook air (11 inch) do u guys ever have problems holding music? Like around 5,000 plus songs.
 
Depends on the quality. 5000 songs @128Kb/s takes a lot less space than 5000 songs @320Kb/s, let alone what lossless audio like FLAC would take. I think you can fit 5000 songs but fitting anything else might be a bit problematic. You could try encoding them to lower bitrate to save space, or possibly look into external or online storage.
 
No problem, as most compressed music files are around 3 to 6 MB in size, thus 5.000 of them would be 15 to 30 GB, which would be okay for the 64GB version.
