Hi everyone,

I've just bought a new Macbook Air 13'' of 2013, and everything seems ok so far. But I've decided to upgrade Snow Leopard to Mavericks, and weird thing has happened: when sound volume is high, I can definitely hear sound distortions (like squeaks and creaks) coming from Air's speakers. I'm absolutely sure that Air didn't have these distortions on Snow Leopard.

Is this a known bug, a hardware issue, or an expected behavior?

Thank you in advance.

Distortion at max volume on any device seems expected

Maybe, but I didn't have this problem prior to upgrading to Mavericks - that is strange, isn't it?

P.S. Maybe volume is not on "max", but on "high" setting (i.e. above ~75%) - sound distortion is heard on speakers.
