macbook air 13 2017 doesn’t detect new ssd

Hello.
I decided updating ssd on my Macbook air 13’ 2017 years A1466.
I bought samsung mz-vl45120 512GB m2 nvme and special adapter m.2 ngff to macbook 2013-2017 but when I installed these on macbook, ssd is not detected by system and if try enter command ‘ diskutil list ‘ on terminal I see only recovery disk on 2Gb.
Can I fix it or I should buy another ssd? Could you recommend me model?

The Samsung drive may not be compatible with the Air.

Is the Air running a High Sierra or newer bootrom?
