Macbook Air 13 inch + Thunderbolt Monitor?

I think you should wait for the refresh. It has been about 2 years since Apple updated their display.
It still doesn't have usb 3.0 support...
And with the new MacPros being released later this year with TB 2 as well, It is safe to say the new Apple Display should support usb 3.0 AND TB 2, for the same buck or even less if Apple continues to reposition their products.
You wouldn't want to to spend a thousand bucks just to be caught with old tech.
