Hey everyone, I'm looking to get a new macbook air from craigslist and I wanted to run it by you to see if it's a good deal. I'm already leaning towards going for it but just wanted your input.

Not looking to make any deals on MRumors.

Machine:
Macbook Air 13"
Core i7, 1.8 Ghz
4GB RAM
256 GB SSD
Applecare until Sept 2014.

The seller is asking $1140.

Seems about right for the high-end spec and APP.

Yeah that's kinda what I thought too. It's much less than the Apple refurb of the same spec plus APP for $270 plus tax.

Looks like a solid deal but not SO great that its suspiscious. Do it up! I just switched from a 2010 MBP to a 2011 MBA and have been very happy with it. You'll love how much quicker it boots up and how much quicker it is to launch apps and open up files.

Alright, I was able to grab one a couple days ago for $1050. Not bad I think, near mint with only 20 cycles on the battery.
