Yesterday I tried to update my MacBook to Sierra. It froze and I waited for hours but nothing happened (kept saying it took 29 minutes to complete). I rebooted the computer and after login it crashed (See picture 1.1)
I started my MacBook in recovery mode and tried repairing the disk, it was OK so no repair needed according to the tool. I tried to reinstall macOS Sierra, same thing happens waiting for 14 hours + and kept at 29 minutes left to complete.
I tried multiple other things.
-Deleted lots of files (documents, no system files) through terminal to have at least 40gb free space;
- diskutil (through terminal, no errors);
- fsck (through terminal, no errors) (picture 1.3);
- Reinstall MacOS Sierra 5+ times;
- Reinstall trough Safe Mode, Safe Mode doesn’t work;
- Tried to force Safe Mode trough terminal (sudo and other terminal comments do not work because they “Don’t exist”. (picture 1.2)
1.1: Kernel Panic
![]()
1.2: sudo not working
![]()
1.3: fsck – no errors

Anybody got a clue how to fix this?
