I know many other users have the same issue i was able to fix any and all audio stutter under windows 7 32 and 64bit by downclocking the CPU to 800mhz, has anyone else found a more permanent fix to this issue? Audio stutters in all applications under windows but mac is fine. Need to know of a fix i would like to avoid a genius appointment itll be a 2 hour drive and wait.

I have been experimenting and may have found a 2nd work around which should lead to the real issue, after using msconfig to limit the processor to 1 instead of utilizing both cores I no longer have stuttering, however this is going to decrease performance. I still have some random / probally normal DPC Spikes but it is not the usual ones that are cuasing audio stutters. Can anyone else add input?

Apple repair center has my repair on hold and are awaiting more information. Apple Care says that the repair center can not duplicate the problem and it will be shipped back to me unfixed. What is wrong with these people did i pay 1799 for a piece of ****?

Even though Apple advertises compatibility with Windows, they don't officially respect or support dealing with Windows 7. It is a stupid situation, as I think Apple could sell more Macs by having some decent Windows 7 drivers and actually selling Macs with both OSes running. In addition, many people love Windows 7 but Mac designs... Apple could probably sell more Macs if they were sold with only Windows 7 on them. I know, flame me.

oh but you know, it's an EXPERIENCE!

that and the day that Mr Jobs authorises a deal with Microsoft to ship WIndows on every mac is the day that hell freezes over, and I finally get that date I asked for back in the 8th grade...

Do you really need 7? Does it work under vista, xp, 2003?

Vista does the same thing, It's a defective processor / logic board. Whenever 2nd core is enabled it stutters.

Does this only happen under bootcamp, or does Fusion and Parallels have the same issue?

havent tried either, its at repair depot still with on hold needing information.

Well, I was hoping to post that my laptop was repaired but Apple is shipping it back to me un-repaired and the Local Genuis bar refuses to look at it after speaking to a Manager my laptops serial number is some how coded that they will not look at any "windows issues"
