Macbook Air 2010 - white spot on lcd

Just found a white spot that appeared on my LCD. Seen alot of ppl with the same thing on macbook pros. Really annoyed! Anyone else with the same issue and did they replace the screen?

Thanks for the link - ive had dead pixels before on some of my pc gear - having the white spot looking at me when editing images isnt fun 🙁

I have the same on mine. Bottom left. Its like a super bright pixel. It does not bother me so I learned to live with it. I really have to look hard to find it. But if you are doing photo editing then I could see your issue with it. Just take it to Apple and explain real nice and get it exchanged.😉

i downloaded this program http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/10793/pixel-check to check for dead pixels, and the white spot turned out to be dead pixels... brought it back to the apple store and they are ordering a replacement lcd for me free of charge

mine developed this white smudge is a more apt description. my mba 13 is mint and never once dropped it or had anything touch the screen.

apple genius approved a new display. wish me luck.
