Recently purchased a MacBook Air 2011 11" which had an expanded battery. When I received t the laptop functioned fine. Was able to open the machine and remove it but now the laptop doesn't function. Green light on charger(s) I have used. Tried smc resetting also. I really hope the motherboard isn't dead but am loosing hope. Anybody have any ideas?

When you say the laptop doesn't function, do you mean that it doesn't power on at all? Did it just stop working after you removed the battery? What happens if you plug the battery back in it?

Doesn't power on. Stopped working a few days ago. Never got it wet, only opened it today. No change with the bloated battery. The laptop is warm on the motherboard on the left side, not where the adapter plugs in.
