With all this talk about the the SSD in the MacBook Air being Toshiba or Samsung, it seems to be only for 128GB and 256GB models.

Can someone with a 2011 64GB SSD Macbook Air 11'' check what model is their SSD?

"You can check which SSD module you have by going to About this Mac > More info… > System Report… (the new name for System Profiler) and clicking on Hardware > Serial-ATA in the left pane. If the enter for APPLE SSD is followed by SM, you have the Samsung, if it’s followed by TS you have the Toshiba module."

Please let me know.

Thanks.

I have a samsung. I don't remember the model number, but it's certainly a Samsung on my 64GB SSD.

Just looked and I have the Toshiba on my 11". It is the new Air 64gb. Hope that helps ya!!

Thanks guys - I never saw any discussion on the Toshiba vs. Samsung debate on the 64GB SSDs, guess there just aren't that many people that buy this line.

Now I know that there are still 2 types of SSD for the 64GB model.

Thanks,
