Macbook Air 2011 - Install's runner tool is not properly configured as a setuid tool

I was wondering if anyone els has experienced this error. I have a new (one day old) macbook air with Lion, and when I tried to install a Canon MX860 wireless printer driver, this error came up when i attempted to launch the first driver package.

Any help out there for this problem?

I would try and download it from their website. the version on the CD might not be for Lion but their website has a Lion version:
