MacBook Air 2011

I have a macbook air 2011 model it wont come on once it goes to sleep. Unless I leave it in the hot sun for a couple of hours then it comes on no problem. I have updated to maverick and updated all updates on macbook. I can leave the top open at all times to keep it from cutting off but if i close lid it wont come back up. Any suggestions as to what might be wrong with it.?

If you have Applecare, take it into a store, on second thought even if you don't have Applecare, take it to a store and let them look at it.

Don't have applecare the mac is 3 years old.

I would still take it, sometimes Apple will do goodwill repairs, sometimes not, you never know until you try, the least they will do is give you an estimate for repair.
