Is this something that was caused by the fact that I accidentally let it get all the way down to 0%? It wouldn't charge at first, now it's up to a grand 2% and still has 20 hours left.

If this isn't normal, what should I do to change it?

Definitely not normal. I'd try shutting it down and rebooting. Also, try an outlet in a different room. If nothing changes, contact Apple.

Weird story.

I ended up resetting my SMC and NVRAM, and now it's fixed.

Guess this was a non-issue.

I just realized this isn't the first device I've had that has had this particular problem. My Xoom, iPad 2, and even my Galaxy Nexus have all had issues charging after drained down to nothing. I think I must be cursed, or maybe it's a problem with battery technology.

I don't know which.
