Will the macbook air support dual external displays? I have two 20" dell monitors I would like to hook up to the air. They have vga and dvi inputs.

I know one monitor can work with a thunderbolt to DVI display.

Could i use a usb to dvi adapter like the below to power up a 2nd external?

thanks

I dunno if there such a thing as a USB->DVI adapter, but another option is Mirroring to an ATV.

Any mac compatible USB->DVI adaptor will work. If you haven't used one before, those adaptors are limited by the USB 2.0 bus speed so the frame rate of the output is very low. Definitely check out some reviews first to get a better idea.

I am not sure about 2 20" monitors but I know the MBA will not support 2 thunderbolt displays.
