Macbook Air 2012 keeps losing wifi after updates

I keep losing wifi connection in my house all the time after updating to Yosemite. Before that using Lion or whatever the previous one. I had no problems. Let it sleep for days even when turn on wifi goes on bam immediately now.. I have to disconnect the wifi and then connect again ever now and then sometimes within 1-2 hours or so. Any remedies? I have the lastest and greatest.. maybe should not have even bothered... since none of Yosemite features I am utilizing ... maybe 5% or even less. The replicate desktop thing is pretty much a no use at least for me on iMac or ipads etc..
