Hey, I just ordered an apogee one 2013 model, the new one that just came out, and I'm gonna be buying a macbook air pretty soon. The macbook air comes with an i5 1.3GHz processor, but the new apogee one says it needs 1.5GHz minimum. Kinda worried about that.

Anyone using the latest apogee one with the latest macbook air?

It'll easily run it, I'd be more worried about the drivers for such a new OS plus they use Firewire yeah? But the processor will run it fine, I was running my Duet 2 off last year's base 11" for a while

Edit, thought you meant the old Duet. Should still be cool though

Cool thanks that's good to know. In that case I won't upgrade the processor.

It's actually using USB 2.0, so I should be good to go!

The clock speed is pretty meaningless when comparing different generations of processors. I have a 2011 MacBook Air with the 1.7ghz i5 CPU. It runs circles around my 2.4ghz 2008 MacBook Pro. And from what I've read, the 1.3ghz processor in the 2013 MacBook Air will be faster than my 1.7 also. :)
