Hey Guys,

I upgraded my Macbook Air 2012 purely because of the increased battery life and although its better than my 2012 model for some reason the battery keeps draining even after I switch it completely off or put it in sleep mode (close lid). I'm talking 20 -30% + drainage switching it back on after 24 hrs! Really annoying. This can't be normal? The 2012 MBA never did this, 2-3% max .

I've checked to make sure the battery nap feature is disabled. Cannot see anything else hogging resources in the task manager. This a 2 month old machine with few programs installed and light usage. Any suggestions welcome.

This is not normal; no battery drain for me if the MBA is switched off and only a 2/3% per night if it's in sleep mode. You should definitely have it checked at a genius bar.
