Hi I have a MacBook Air A1370 that I bought a new charger for and the light on the charger isn’t working and i don’t think it’s charging at all. I tried several outlets and it’s still not working. Is the battery completely dead or is there another way to turn it on or did I get a bad charger?

It’s over ten years old and the battery probably won’t accept a charge. I’d return the charger if possible - no point in spending money for such an old computer.

i have the same MacBook air and sometimes need to replug the chord to get the light going.
as JPack suggested, i would exchange the power source, if possible.
but
these MacBook are great and still pack a punch!
i can recommend some 3rd party adapters that outlasted the ones i parched last century
and OWC does have a great rep for MacBook supplies.
