So here's the deal... When my battery is low and I try to turn on my Macbook i can clearly see a low battery icon ( which means the screen is not dead ) When I plug it into a power source my Macbook will turn on ( you can see the screen light up but it is still black ) and nothing else happens. There is no chime or anything.

I've tried the Shift+Power trick, the Shift+Option+Command+Power trick and the Option+Command +R+P+Power trick. Nothing works ...

Have any of you ran into this problem? If so what worked to fix it. Please help :(

Sorry if there is actually something in this forums that helps my situation already. I went through a few pages and found nothing.
