Hi All,

i just upgraded the 128GB to NVMe 1TB with US$2 adaptor and online installation Control+C without any problem.

If you are is not an early 2015 or 2017, it will suffer from kernel panics when waking from hibernation.

The 970 EvoPlus is nice. Unfortunately, its speed is limited by the Air's PCIe 2.0 bus.

I don’t have any issues, leaving hibernation for 24hours and wake up as normal without any lagging or kernel panic to to latest NVMe

yes it limited speed capability almost 50% from the performance due to PCIe 2.0

The reason for me to get the latest and highest speed NVMe due to the price not much difference and will used it for at least 5 to 7 years until Apple “give up” to solder the SSD/NVMe
