If anyone has this setup, would they mind posting pictures? I am curious how it looks with the USB and power adapter on opposite sides.
 
I have this set up but my Air is having its fan replaced. It looks cool though and the cables are not tight at all. The display was definitely designed for use with the Air. The photo below should show that the cables are plenty long enough.
