Hi,

I have an early 2014 MacBook Air (11-inch) with 2 regular USB ports which I am attempting to connect to an external monitor. It is an old DELL monitor that has a couple regular USB ports, a DVID input and a VGA input. Is it possible to get them working together? Being a 2nd year student at uni with no prior experience with this kind of thing, I have no clue how any of this works so any help would be reallly appreciated!

Thank you x

You need a mini-DisplayPort to DVI adapter, these can be found cheaply on Amazon/eBay etc.
