Hi,

I currently have an iPad Pro 11 256gb w/ LTE as my primary device since I travel a lot for work and the LTE is worth it's weight in gold when you do that. However, I've been really tempted by the Macbook Air since it came out. I was just wondering if it's a big adjustment to not have a touchscreen?

I've had a Surface Pro before and in general it was kind of "Meh" for a lack of a better way to describe it. Windows always feels like a lot of work compared to the last couple of iPad Pro's I've had. I currently have an iPhone X, iPad Pro 11, and an AppleWatch so I kind of think the Macbook Air would be a good fit with all of that for when I'm at home and not traveling.

Thoughts?

I agree on the Surface Pro being "meh" i'm stuck with the Pro 6 at the moment, but i will be jumping back to the Mac. I believe that the best set up you can get is to have an iPad and a Mac, for example i have the 2017 iPad Pro 12.9" and i'm considering either the Macbook Air or Macbook Pro.

It will really depend on what you do, for general everyday things the Air will be great and you will have more battery life, the Macbook Pro will give you more power. Personally i'm leaning towards the new Macbook Air, that gold colour looks awesome.

Also from what i've seen, don't be deceived by the low powered processor inside the new Air, it's more capable than you might think.
