Hi I was wondering if there is any faster way to view older text messeges on my iPhone using my macbook air. I don't want to take 12 hours to scroll up and wait for messeges to load every 2 minutes on my iPhone 5.

I forget what the feature is called but you can link your computer and phone so you can send/receive text messages on your computer using the Messages application.

I doubt the application downloads old texts but once you start using it, you'll be able to scroll back through all the texts you've sent/received since you started using Messages for texting.

I use an app called phoneview http://www.ecamm.com/mac/phoneview/ to download all my text messages off my phone and archive them.

You can not send messages from this app. But it is a great way to clear out texts without losing them or the media in them.
