The wife has just got a new MBA (i7 model) and this was flattened as soon as it came out of the box and Windows 7 installed....not through Boot Camp in OSX, just boot from Win7 DVD and wiped away all the partitions.
All has worked OK apart from audio. Drivers have been installed by running the Lion disc and also running BootCamp updates 3.1, 3.2 and 3.3 but the audio devices are just detected as "High definition audio device" with a yellow triangle and no sound.
I've tried manually installing the Sigmatel and Realtek drivers from the BootCamp 4 files posted by Quad5Ny posted earlier (thanks for those) but it still won't detect the correct hardware.
Can anyone confirm what the model of soundcard is in this laptop - I've seen people mention Cirrus, Sgmatel and Realtek?
And does anyone have a clue how to get rid of the yellow triangle?
Many thanks.
