MacBook Air (Base Model)

Hi,

I have recently purchased a MacBook Air 11 base model - my first ever Mac. Great bit of kit for what i need it for - Emails - Safari and light use.

My question is would i be able to play some of the newer apps in the Mac Store - such as GTA or Civ!?

Any info would be appreciated

You'll be able to play them, but performance won't be great.

Im only a light gamer - i have both a XB360 and PS3 for the hardcore games but am travelling alot this month, and would mind a decent game to play whilst in wireless blackspots etc.

Would you still recommend GTA, not too bothered about being slightly slow etc - but could not bear it if it was like watching a slide show.

haven't used the mac store but don't they have minimum game requirements listed under the game just like in the app store?
